"Untitled (Boxer)" by Jean-Michel Basquiat, an acrylic and oil
paintstick on linen painting from 1982. Lars Ulrich, the drummer
for the heavy metal band Metallica, sold the nearly
eight-foot wide painting for $13.5 million, above
the $12 million estimate, at Christie's International in New York on Nov. 12.
