Stussy’s newly re-launched website has just previewed its Fall 2009 Lookbook. The collection takes a slightly more formal tone than we’re perhaps used to and a adopts a university/education theme, with checked shirts dominating the line. The Lookbook shows the range to be both easy to wear and to match. The ad campaign for the collection uses only primary colours to create psychedelic, three-dimensional style imagery throughout that it is almost as impressive as the collection itself. Head over to Stussy for the complete range.

Designed for a club owner a while ago, the “45 Audio Station” by Chicago-based designer Christian Castro is a DJ table with an integrated vinyl case to rock the dance floor. The name “45″ has a dual meaning derived from the 45 record speed and the design’s resemblance to a handgun. The audio station is made of epoxy, concrete and steel, materials dictated by the design and a turntable’s operational requirement of no movement or vibration. The vertical element of the design is cast concrete connected to the horizontal element, which is made of molded foam. Both the vertical and horizontal elements are coated in glossy resin. The horizontal element is ridged and light, while the vertical element is heavy and immobile. The entire unit is bolted through the club floor.

Undisputed is a motion-portrait look book showcasing select items from the Rocksmith Fall 2009 collection. This season’s line draws inspiration from the mood, primary color tones and experimental nature of Brooklyn in the 1990s. There’s no better setting to capture that nostalgia than the streets of Sunset Park, home of Brooklyn’s own NY Golden Gloves Champ William Shamar Whitt. The look book is directed by Lazlo, the man behind the entire Rocksmith video catalog. The soundtrack is produced by Brooklyn native and legendary producer Tumblin’ Dice.
