Boys Noize attacks N*E*R*D*’s latest single “Hot N’ Fun” featuring Nelly Furtado. After interpreting the band’s hit “Everybody Nose”, Boys Noize has reworked another record by the Virginia collective. Although the structure of the song has been retained, the German electro producer attaches some hard dance-influenced sounds to the original version. Check it out.
LA-based LAZRtag shares with the world their latest remix to “Stars,” which comes from arguably one the best band of the year, The xx. It’s a slow build up, and starts to get interesting around the 1 minute mark. Check it out.
It's sad day for hip hop fans out there (for me too damn it!), Fat Beats have announced that they'll be closing down their stores in New Yowk & Los Angeles respectively. FUCK!! One of my favourite labels 10.Deep has done it again, produced a quality collection for A/W season'10-'11. These guys set the standard for modern day streetwear whereas others just follow. The collection includes everything you come to love about them from cut-and-sew, to graphic tees, to accessories & headwear.
I remember meeting Roddy Rod (DJ/producer - Maspyke) about 2 years ago when he came to S.A. touring with Kev Brown. Both dudes have mad skills on the MPC, Kev is known for his basslines & drum programming whereas Roddy Rod is known for his (MPC) swing & sample chopping. There's something about Roddy Rod's beats that's so crazy ill. Check this video out

I'll just start by saying i'm not a huge dubstep follower but damn Martyn is good. His unique strand of bass defies easy categorisation - to his fans and admirers, it’s known simply as ‘Martyn Music.’ With a sound that has become emblematic for all that’s forward thinking in dubstep Martyn pushes a defiant out-of-the-box mentality into his every artistic venture, scorning genre convention and relentlessly embracing the new. Informed by a love for Detroit techno, Chicago house and hip-hop, encountering drum & bass in its mid-90’s golden era was the catalyst for him to develop his musical ideas and begin to lay the foundations of his career as a DJ & Producer. Check out this interview(in Dutch with subtitles)& get your hands on "Great Lengths", my favourite track from the LP is "Natural Selection", enjoy
World famous UK street artist Banksy's Exit Through The Gift Shop is the street artist’s first film and captioned in the trailer as being “The world’s first street art disaster movie”. The Banksy film which did not make the film festival’s catalogue was secretly screened at Sundance.

To all the ladies packing out there this for you.....wait a minute this could be a fake.....take a close look. Is a gigantic multinational corporation really likely to let slip through an ad that misspells the word "ambassador"? Why would someone create a fake Nike ad? Honestly i don't care, i like the idea though CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE
