Jay-z’s American Gangster got an extended life
(about a year now) due to the fact that they Roc
camp decided to release an accapella version of
the album. DJs went crazy with the vocals, laying
all different kinds of instrumentals underneath
Jay’s voice. Some of them where outstanding,
others not so much. This track combines Afrobeat
instrumentalist Fela Kuti’s rhythms with Hov’s bone
chilling heroin tales. Download the track below,

WILL.I.AM TO PRODUCE U2'S NEXT ALBUM

Rumors have been floating around for a while now that
super producer and Black Eyed Pea front man
Will.I.Am will be taking to the boards to help construct
the upcoming, yet to be titled U2 album. Rumors
have now been confirmed as fact. The legendary
rockers will hit the studio with the producer to create
a genre bending album complete with U2’s stadium
rocking anthems and Will’s Hip Hop influenced style.
Stay tuned for more details. This will be one to watch.
